Hincksman - Family Session Clermont

Just over a year since I last caught up with Ava, Emi & Caleb - I couldn’t believe how much they had grown. This session was a little more special though seeming their mum & dad, Jenna & Luke made an appearance. You can see their last session here.

Such a gorgeous family filled with loads of laughs and mischievous smiles.

Bobongie - Family Session Clermont QLD

A session that was based on capturing their first family photos since their wedding and to get photos of their little girl before she lost her two front baby teeth turned into an extremely gorgeous family session with more images than this post can hold that I can not wait for Luke & Caitlyn to see.

These guys were super stars in front of the camera, Especially Marlee (6) who is full of confidence and character, naturally putting herself into poses and smiling away.

Thankfully we got through the session with all teeth just intact.. a few hours later that night, one fell out.

Theo - 18 Days Newborn & Family Session - Clermont QLD

Theo Lucas born a healthy 8lb 10 into the beautiful Shannon family. Big brother Fletcher seemed super pleased to have a new little mate in the house, to which I am sure they will grow up to the the best of friends. Fletcher was entertained by drawing diggers with his dad Alfie, whilst Lauren and Theo has some one on one time.

I can't wait to catch up with them in months to come for a sitter session!

Araliyah - 12 Month Cake Smash - Clermont QLD

What a sweet little beauty Araliyah is! This darling brown eyed girl popped over to celebrate her 1st Birthday with a cake smash session. As soon as she got undressed she was off and just such a happy little girl, Mostly uninterested in the gorgeous cake that was made, she was just totally was obsessed with looking at herself in the large mirror I have in the room, and playing with the balloons. She couldn't get enough! The little groover was dropping it to the beat of the music and dancing around as her mumma was singing along to songs.

Happy First Birthday Araliyah!

Greg, Erika, Tayte, Leroy & Summer - Forbes Family Session

It was a big drive down to NSW to see my family and friends last week, and I love nothing more than being able to fit in family portrait sessions whilst back in Forbes.

There is just something about being able to capture the families of people I grew up with or knew as a child, coming back seeing the family of their own that they have created.

This gorgeous session was purchased as a gift for Erika’s birthday by her friends. (I think a family photo session is one of the greatest gifts you can receive, who doesn’t want stunning images to fill your walls with?)

Erika had mentioned that they had never gotten around to getting photo’s done yet of the family, I was of course super excited to be catching up with them!

We met up early in the morning before the family was heading to Sydney. Both of the boys Tayte & Leroy, had made it through to the NSW State Cross Country. Anyone who knows this family, knows what superstars these kids are when it comes to sports, the apple doesn’t fall far from thee tree.

I think the most pressing memory I have of Erika when I was a child was how athletic she was with her sports, Especially soccer.

Everyone was an absolute champion for being in front of the camera first thing in the morning. They were completely themselves, so relaxed and just lapped up every moment of being present together.

Oh and I need to mention the great colour styling from Erika choosing that perfect pop of colour for little Summers outfit! Outfit choices are a big part in a session!

Thank you again Erika & Greg, I hope you cherish these photos for many years to come.

Ava, Emilia & Caleb - Mini Session

Saturday afternoon called for a mini session with these three little super stars. Ava (6), Emmy (5) & Caleb (3) all had their fake smiles down pat but I quickly managed to crack the real ones through. They were an absolute delight to spend time with and their mum Jenna said that Emmy even asked if she could come back to see me the following day - She was the sweetest, giving me a lollipop during the session. After a few posed shots, we had a running race which I couldn't believe how much Ava could run, this little Irish dancer has speed and was running around without needing to catch her breath! Caleb has the cheekiest little grin and was never too far away from mum. I think he was the biggest poser of them, He even unprompted, popped his little hands into his pockets during a set up. It was too cute!

There are sooooo many gorgeous pictures of them that I can't wait to share with Jenna & Luke! Thank you Jenna for making the booking, you truly have such sweet kids. (for me anyway...)

Duffy - Family Session

When Carmen got in touch with me to book her family session, I was ecstatic! It had been around 5-6 years since I last took photos of her family when their second eldest Grace was 6 months old. (I did the maternity session, and newborn session too, and these are still some of my favourite photos I have ever taken) I have always kept up to date with following Carmen on instagram and have loved watching her family grow from four to six and seeing the fun activities she gets up to with them!

Hands and hearts are certainly full with this little tribe!

The Jacksons - Forbes, NSW Family Session

Popped out for a short & sweet mini session to the Jackson's property. Greeted with a big smile from Laine this guy was a delight! Little Kodan however wasn't to sure what was going on & was a little more challenging as he didn't want to leave his dad's side! It was so great to see how much fun these boys have running around with their calfs in the front paddock and the two dogs which followed us everywhere!

Thank you Stevie & Ben for inviting me out to your home!

Schumacher - Family Session

I met up with Tahlyah and her family last Thursday, arriving at their home to grab a few pictures before we set off to the chosen location. On arrival big brother Arlin greeted me with his toy helicopter, a big cheeky smile and than ran off. I couldn't believe his striking blue eyes! What a cutie.. As soon as I got the camera out Arlin wasn't too happy to be in front of it. He really made me work for it which continued when we got to the location. The newest addition to the family Klay was a little upset.. We did the best we could in-between trying to settle him whilst Arlin just wanted to continue running about and finding rocks. No doubt with his energy Arlin will make a great big brother!
